Boston is a pretty city with lots of squirrels. I sometimes go romping along the esplanade or maybe in the Fenway to try and find some. It's a neverending job.

Storrow Drive

Boston is the most anti-dog city in the country. Imagine my surprise when they actually put in a dog run! The didn't pay for it, of course, the dog owners had to. They went on and on about how taxpayers shouldn't be forced to pay for them. I guess they think dog owners aren't taxpayers. Guess again. Still, you shouldn't look a gift squirrel in the mouth.

Then off to the esplanade where I learned to climb my first tree. Those squirrels sure can scamper fast. You should have seen the look on their faces when I climbed up after them. I don't think they were expecting it. Now if I could just figure out how to get down. Nice view from here, though.

Up the tree

FishingFishingSquirrels are certainly the most important thing, but there are other fuzzy critters worth chasing. Feathered ones, too. They can be anywhere. Even in the Charles River. Love that dirty water!

By a lagoon

By a lagoon along the Charles River Esplanade, I turn contemplative. Sometimes there's a guy sculling here that I can chase.

And home to catch a few rays on the deck.
